Overview-
We thought it would be fitting to follow up the Callaway RAZR irons review from last week, with a review of his big brother – Callaway RAZR Hawk driver. The RAZR Hawk is also available in the Tour model.
When Callaway R&D went to work to design the 2011′ drivers last year, they must have envisioned a near perfect driver when brainstorming the new RAZR Hawk. Callaway has a strange habit of being the leader in innovation year after year, especially when it comes to driver technology and design and the new Callaway RAZR Hawk and RAZR Hawk Tour drivers fits the bill.
Technology-
The lightweight carbon is one of the highlights of the RAZR Hawk. Exceptionally light carbon-fiber material provides the foundation to form the clubhead’s crown and sole. Callaway didn’t stop there though, the overall design is enhanced with a spin-cast nickel, rear-weight pad, and a thin aluminum skid plate on the sole. To assist on those dreadful but inevitable, off center hits, a chemically milled titanium cupface was added. This sealed the deal on the new RAZR Hawk!

Actual Player Feedback-
“It sets up darn-near perfect. That evokes a feeling that you can take a rip at it without fear”
“This thing is a freakin-rocket”
[review pros=”The carbon-fiber formula is the basis and makes for a much more precisely shaped and weighted driver. Callaway has given us a driver that will provide limitless length off the tee. The RAZR Hawk Tour gives the better player a more workable driver.” cons=”New technology is always subject to scrutiny once it gets to the masses. We’ll see how the RAZR Hawk fairs, but all indications are it will do well.” score=99.6]
Summary-
Chalk up another driver that makes the Golf Digest 2011′ Gold List for Callaway. The new Callaway RAZR Hawk and RAZR Hawk Tour should be one hot driver this year. Making lighter clubs is the new craze and for good reason. Dropping few few grams from the shaft and club will give you added distance and control. We think Callaway has a good thing going with the RAZR Hawk and will be watching this one closely has the new season unfolds.
I have been playing for a couple of years now but nonetheless I still like to find all I am able to on the game. . Just to satisfy my curiosity, how long did it take you to improve your golf skill?I have seen Tiger Woods has creamed the Miami tournament also. I was staying on it with the BBC web pages at http://bytly.co/bbc. I make sure I get all of my most recent information via there. I think the details are the one of the most trusted.I used to slice the golfball like crazy till I discovered how not to on-line. Like I say, I just simply can’t appear to quit browsing the game!
